Commercial Project: Pop-up brand experience

Project Brief

To develop an initial concept for a pop-up brand experience, inspired by BoxPark-style modular container spaces. The project will focus on creating an engaging experience for a #MadeInYorkshire brand, designed to appeal to university students, and tailored to the site of Market Place, Huddersfield.

Final  Experience

Entrance + Exit

The entrance of the pop-up store is designed to spark curiosity while serving as a welcoming space where customers can purchase products and receive personalized advice to find the perfect products for their needs.

Middle

Middle

The middle of the pop-up store features dedicated areas that demonstrate the steps involved in creating the skincare products and the natural ingredients used. These spaces provide users with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of natural skincare and its benefits for health and well-being.

End

The final area of the pop-up store features a display of the finished skincare products alongside a "try-me" station, complete with a sink area where users can test the final products before making a purchase.

Journey through wonderland

Introduces a journey through wonder and fantasy to grow knowledge of the natural skincare brand Annwyn Botanicals. This immersive design engages the senses through experiences of how the products are made and what ingredients are used, whilst also using organic shapes and natural forms to create a connection to nature. This design allows a sense of escape from the stress of university and a space that promotes relaxation and nourishing of the skin, body and mind.

Chosen #MadeInYorkshire Brand: Annwyn Botanicals

Brand Identity

Annwyn Botanicals founded in 2014 is a natural plant-based skincare brand that uses raw and pure botanical ingredients as well as essential oils and herbs. Their mission is to reconnect people to the natural world and to raise awareness of the ingredients we ‘feed’ our skin.

Brand Values

  • Use pure and natural botanical ingredients

  • Bottles are made from recycled sugar cane and are themselves recyclable.

  • Ethical sourcing or raw ingredients and no animal testing.

‘ANNWYN’

‘Annwyn’ is the Celtic word for ‘otherworld’, Celtic ancestors believed that in the otherworld all good things came, or grew beneath the earth. In Welsh Mythology ‘Annwyn’ is a world of delights and eternal youth where disease was absent.
